Since you will be entering the BIOS and won't have access to your browser, it is recommended to open this website on your phone in order to view the instructions.

Additionally, on most modern systems, the BIOS will have a search function which you can use to easily navigate to the specified setting.

Disable Secure Boot

In most motherboards, this will simply be named "Secure Boot" but disabling it may work differently across the different manufacturers (MSI, Asus..). I recommend looking up "how to disable secure boot on [Manufacturer]" for a more specific guide to you. Here are some example images which may help you find and work out how to disable it (also see the captions for descriptions):

Please note the below screenshot has "Secure Boot" enabled, you want to disable it!

Enable Virtualization

The name for this setting in the BIOS will differ depending on the processor and motherboard manufacturer. Due to this, I recommend looking up "how to enable virtualisation for [AMD / Intel] on [Motherboard Manufacturer]". You can also use the below resources:

Intel Processors

For Intel the option may be called "Intel Virtualization Technology" or "VT-x" amongst other names. Here are some example images which may help you find and work out how to enable virtualization:

I have included the sources beside the image. They include further steps which can help you locate and identify how to enable virtualization.

AMD Processors

For AMD the option is most commonly called "SVM Mode" but may be called "AMD-v" amongst other names. Here are some example images which may help you find and work out how to enable virtualization:

I have included the sources beside the image. They include further steps which can help you locate and identify how to enable virtualization.
